Children’s tutoring sessions
Ekota is pleased to be working with APE Academy to offer structured, small group tuition sessions alongside the Ekota Summer Camp.
This programme is designed to support young people alongside their summer activities, helping them build confidence and strengthen key academic skills in a focused and supportive environment.
What the Programme Includes
During the Ekota Summer Camp, APE Academy will deliver small group tuition sessions for children taking part in the camp.
- Sessions run on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays
- Each session lasts 2 hours per day
- Suitable for children aged 8 – 15
- Delivered in the afternoons after Ekota camp activities
- Takes place at the Ekota Hub, Goodmayes Park
- Runs from 28th July – 27th August 2026
These sessions are taught by qualified tutors from APE Academy and are designed to be engaging, structured and suitable for young people working at different levels.

Purpose of the Sessions
The tuition sessions aim to:
- Support learning in core subjects
- Build confidence in a small group setting
- Provide additional academic support during the summer holidays
- Work alongside the sports and enrichment activities offered by Ekota Summer Camp
Registration and Fees
- The cost is £20 per 2 hour session or £50 per week
- Places are limited and subject to availability
- Registration is completed through the Ekota Academy website
All payments are managed securely as part of the booking process.

Important Information for Parents
- Tuition sessions are delivered separately by APE Academy
- Ekota Academy provides the venue and manages registration
- APE Academy is responsible for teaching, staffing and session delivery
- Both organisations work together to ensure a safe and well-organised programme
Photography and Consent
Photos or videos may be taken during sessions for promotional purposes. Parents will be able to give consent or opt out during the registration process.

Cancellations
Session delivery depends on minimum attendance levels. In rare cases where sessions cannot run, parents will be informed and appropriate arrangements will be made.
