Football
Ekota FC has been in operation since 2014. We provide an opportunity for children to improve their skills and be a part of a competitive football team. Children from ages 5-16 of all abilities are welcome to join our weekly training sessions. The club is registered with the FA and the sessions are facilitated by FA qualified coaches.
Cricket
Ekota aims to teach future cricketers new skills and to give them the very best first experience in the world of cricket. A chance to play, learn great skills and meet new friends! Ekota cricket programmes are designed for players wanting to get that competitive edge over their opponents. It is an intense and structured programme ensuring all facets of batting, bowling, and fielding are covered.
Martial Arts
Following the successful launch of our Filipino Martial Arts programme, Ekota is providing weekly martial arts sessions designed to develop fitness, discipline and technical expertise. Those attending are provided with a bespoke and comprehensive learning programme developed by our world renowned Sensai.
Badminton
Badminton is one of the most popular participatory sports in the country. Ekota provides opportunities for those interested to connect with others and develop their skills. Walking Cricket
Ekota Academy is now offering free sessions on Walking Cricket in Goodmayes Park! Walking Cricket is a slower version of the traditional game played at a walking pace with adapted rules. It has been specially designed for people that love the game of cricket but can no longer play the traditional version.
Dance
Working in partnership with a local dance organisation, Ekota encourages people in the community to get creative and get fit through participating in weekly dance classes from Zumba, Bollywood to Pilates.
Table Tennis
Ekota’s outdoor table tennis table in Goodmayes Park continues to be used more widely . The table has been positively welcomed and is frequently used by users of the park.
