How to get involved

There are several ways you can support our Digital Inclusion Project:

Become a Digital Champion

Volunteer as a Digital Champion and help deliver digital skills training sessions. You’ll support residents with everyday digital tasks such as using apps, writing emails, and accessing online services.

Spread the word in your
community

Help people you know who may benefit from digital support by telling them about the project and sharing information within your personal and professional networks, especially parents, grandparents or neighbours who may not see our social media updates.

Help promote the project

Support our outreach by displaying posters in your business or community space, handing out leaflets, or volunteering with door-to-door leaflet sessions to help reach more residents.

If you’d like to get involved, speak to your local library or contact us at digitalinclusion@ekotaacademy.com to find out more about volunteering and supporting the project.

Become Our Volunteer

This is a chance to be a part of a social movement working with an experienced and passionate team. Become a volunteer today and gain new skills, meet new people, support and give back to your local community. Our opportunities can also help those individuals seeking paid employment to build up their confidence and skills. You must be 16 years and above with no criminal convictions. All volunteers will be required to complete a DBS check. You will receive a range of relevant training and support to deliver your role.

Volunteer Recruitment

All our volunteers will have to go through a process of recruitment and checks will be undertaken. If you are interested in volunteering with the club please complete the Ekota volunteer application and email it to contact@ekotaacademy.com.
